Here’s a long overdue layout I did about my daughter’s failure to launch!
Thanks for looking!
Lindsay Jane has a Grab Bag available at Gotta Pixel for the month of November. It has four amazing new items in it!
Here’s a few layouts I did with them:
She’s also got a gorgeous new fall kit called, A Touch of Fall.
It got me to scrap some old pictures I had laying around. It’s amazing how inspiring a great kit can be!
Thanks for looking!
Well, Jen and Lindsay have been very busy, which means I have too, so let’s get right to it!
For me, the hardest part of creating a layout is figuring out a design and getting started. That’s why you’ve got to check out her Frames Templates!
She takes the guesswork out. You can use them as is, or use it as a jumping off point like I did in this layout about my recent cruise. (Did I mention I went on a cruise with my girlfriends? It was AMAZING!)
Lindsay Jane has been hard at work as well. Here’s what she (and I) have been up to:
Aren’t these colors just delicious! They go perfectly with my daughter’s 2nd Halloween costume!
Lindsay was the Guest Designer at TDS Studio this month! She created an awesome kit called Water Fun! Here’s a layout that I have been dying to make for some time and her kit gave me just the inspiration I needed to get it done!
I’m working on another LO as we speak, so I’ll be back soon! Thanks for looking!
Well, Jen Maddocks has been very busy creating many gorgeous new goodies, which means I have been creating lots too, so let’s get right to it!
Next are some gorgeous Floral Frames and Masks.
Here’s my LO, “Extraordinary”:
Jen has been working hard on some 4th of July products as well. Patriot Papers:
And the July Build a Kit from Digi ScrapBook Mania:
Here’s a LO I did using papers and elements from both!
I am so loving that Statue of Liberty!
Jen also created a new kit for Digi ScrapBook Mania’s Summer Getaway Build a Kit.
I had fun with this one. I actually extracted a photo of my daughter from a random beach shot and placed her on one of the papers from this kit, messed around with blending modes and came out with an awesome background photo, which is really a paper from this kit! How cool is that?
Finally, Jen has recently put out these Scapes papers. They are so beautifully textured; the possibilities are endless!
I did a similar technique on this LO. I added a picture to one of these papers, changed the blending mode, and, using a layer mask, erased away portions of the real photo until it blended in with the Scapes paper. I was amazed at how much better than the original photo it looked!
Well, that’s it for now. I’ve got to get back to making new memories and then scrapping about them! Be good!
Yay! I am on another CT! I will now be creating for Lindsay Jane! Here’s what’s been going on:
Lindsay Jane has released several new kits and I have had the pleasure of creating layouts with them. Here’s Red White and Blue:
Here’s a really fun LO I did with it:
Here’s another kit of hers called Perfect Day:
Here’s a few LOs I did with it. The first was a gift for my son’s teacher:
Finally, this kit is called Fresh Start:
Here’s a card I made for my other son’s teacher using it:
I’ll be back soon with more goodies. I’ve got to get ready to go to the circus! Be good!
So, Jen Maddocks had her Grand Opening yesterday and she has designed the most amazing new products! If you click on the preview, you will be taken right to her store. Here they are with some pages I designed with them:
Here’s my page:
Here’s her new “Travel” papers. They are absolutely perfect for any vacation or, well, travel pages!
Here’s my page:
Here’s a really versatile layered Quilt Template:
And here’s what I did with it:
I also used some items from her “Tooth Fairy” kit and “Grow Brushes” in the above layouts. Here they are:
Well, that’s it for today. I hope you check these out and have as much fun creating with them as I do! I’ll be back soon to show you how I extended the left side of the photo on the “Spring Run” page so that it would work in the template.
